Embarking on a project that leaves a lasting impression is a journey worth sharing. Recently, I was approached by a construction group seeking assistance with revamping a commercial restaurant bar top they had recently constructed. The restaurant, known as Standard Service, boasts a vibrant and unique atmosphere, featuring the 3rd largest TV in Texas, outdoor firepits, corn hole tournaments, and pickleball courts.
Upon inspecting the bar top, it quickly became evident that we could turn the bar top into a master piece. I assembled a team of five professionals to work diligently through the night. We meticulously removed the old epoxy, addressed water damage, and painstakingly sanded down the excessive stain to breathe new life into the bar top. Our commitment to quality work and cleanliness impressed the construction company, who were amazed by our ability to salvage the damaged wood.
Implementing a methodical approach, we applied multiple thin coats of wood stain and epoxy to ensure a flawless finish. By sealing the wood properly and filling any voids, we achieved a glass-like sheen that exceeded expectations. The final flood coat was the pièce de résistance, leaving the bar top looking breathtakingly beautiful.

A year later, the general manager reached out to express their continued admiration for the bar top and even extended an invitation to bid on another project.
